Our Mission

SCOPEs mission is to work for the overall development of the individual, family and society with a view to creating a harmonious self-reliant and self-sustaining society through social, economic and cultural empowerment

Qualitative

Awareness on the causes of and means of preventing HIV and AIDS has gone up among high risk groups
  • Levels of enrolment and retention in school have gone up across the project area
  • Social consensus has been generated on the need to eliminate child labour
  • Adolescent girls have been sensitised to the ill effects of child marriage
  • Standards of personal hygiene and public sanitation have gone up appreciably in most villages of the project area
  • Awareness on the importance of conserving water has gone up and a wide range of water harvesting structures have been constructed
  • More children are aware of environmental issues such as afforestation, pollution and global warming
  • Forest cover has gone up significantly in one mandal of the project area
  • The quality of service delivery at Anganwadi Centres and Health Sub-Centres has gone up considerably
  • Women from the project area have been playing an active role in politics and some of them have been elected to local bodies in Jinnaram mandal

TARGET GROUPS

Our target groups are children, women, youth, aged and senior citizens belongs to poor and marginal families living in rural and urban areas.

PARTNERSHIPS & NETWORKS

  • Dr. Bandi Sayanna, President of SCOPE is the Convener of CACL, Telangana Region and facilitating networking activities with 230 NGOs in the Telangana Region.
  • SCOPE is one of the founder member of MEDVAN, a network of 15 NGOs working in the District of Medak along with District Administration and UNICEF
  • SCOPE is part of a network to promote Universalization of Elementary Education along with 5 likeminded NGOs in the District of Nalgonda
  • The founder president of SCOPE is a State convener of Government Education Protection Forum
